“তোমরা যখন খিল খিলিয়ে হাসো,  
আমি তখন চুপটি করে কাঁদি।  
তোমার হাসির শব্দ সবাই শোনে  
দুঃখ আমার চেপেই থাকে মনে!  
আমার শুধু মন খারাপের বেলা  
হেলায় গুনি তোমার অবহেলা!”
